Looks like LG is ready to get back in the tablet game. Last week we saw a Bluetooth SIG listing for what looked like a new Android slate, and now we’re hearing whispers that the South Korean company may unveil its rumored G Pad early next month at the IFA tech expo in Berlin, according to a report from Techblog.

The Greek site claims to have the inside scoop on LG, and revealed the alleged launch window and some specs for the G Pad. Techblog reports that the Android tablet will come equipped with an 8.3-inch Full HD Plus Display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, an aluminum design, but no stylus. The site’s anonymous source claims to have seen the device in person, and describes a lightweight tablet with a slight bezel. It’s also apparently thin enough to fit in your back pocket. That seems weird, considering its 8.3-inch screen size.

With the G2 smartphone launch behind it, LG is likely gearing up to release some of the many G-branded devices it patented last year, including the G Pad, G Glass, G Link, G Band and G Hub. It sounds like the South Korean company may be rushing to release a few new products at IFA next month. TechnoBuffalo will be in Berlin for the expo, and we can’t wait to see what LG has in store for us.
