Verizon on Tuesday at long last rolled out a signup page for the HTC One, though the carrier doesn’t reveal when the device will go on sale, and for how much. We’ve known for far too long that Verizon would offer the device, and it was hinted at just a few weeks ago in a casual PR Tweet, but the carrier has otherwise been remiss to reveal too many details. Judging by this sign up page, however, I imagine that will change very soon.
A leaked Verizon roadmap just the other day suggested the HTC One would land on the carrier by Aug. 29, which is a few weeks away. If that’s the case, it sure looks like Verizon is in the process of finally gearing up to unveil all the juicy details, meaning we could put this long, drawn out saga behind us. One remaining question is whether or not the blue HTC One option is legitimate, however.
As for that Verizon branding just above the Beats Audio logo, well, it doesn’t look too pretty, but not even that can tarnish what is otherwise one of the most attractive smartphones out there.
