The Wonderful 101 Gets Lengthy, Detailed Trailer

From now until the end of the year, the Wii U is looking at at least one banner title published every single month. The Wonderful 101 is on deck as the next game to drop.

Last Friday, Nintendo hosted a special Direct presentation specifically for The Wonderful 101. This game, developed by Platinum Games (the same folks behind the likes of Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Vanquish), was presented alongside a ton of gameplay footage.

Nintendo released more than seven minutes worth of in-game action, and you can watch all of that in the video embedded at the top of this post.

Don’t take The Wonderful 101 too seriously, folks. This looks like a fun, campy take on fighting aliens and robots with massive super powers.

If you have a Wii U and want to give The Wonderful 101 a shot, you can actually download and play a brand new demo right now. It’s in the Wii U’s eShop.

The full game will release on September 15th, 2013. We’ll have more on it as it comes.
