Disney Interactive held a presentation on Sunday during Disney’s fan convention D23 Expo and announced 13 new characters coming to Disney Infinity.
Disney Infinity which is available August 18, will now have Anna (Frozen), Elsa (Frozen), Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie, Wreck-it-Ralph, Vanellope Von Schweetz, Jack Skellington, Rapunzel, Phineas, Ferb, Agent P and Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey Mouse (Mickey available in January 2014) along with previously named characters for the new open-world gaming platform.
Disney Infinity will also distribute two mobile apps, Disney Infinity Action!, which is an app where you can add Disney characters into videos. This one will be available next week.
The second app will be officially announced on Tuesday, which will allow you to edit your Disney Infinity toy box world away from your console.
Judging by the fan reaction of the character unveiling and gameplay portion of the presentation, Disney Infinity looks to be very promising.
