We’re slowly building up to a grandstand unveiling of HTC’s One Max, a device the Taiwanese company slyly hinted at just this week. Over the past month or so, rumors about the handset have begun heating up, with pictures and rumors unofficially revealing what looks to be an HTC One, but phablet-y. For many who appreciate larger screens, this could very well be a device to consider.
The above photo is meant to show scale—the HTC One Max, which supposedly has a 5.9-inch Full HD display, is on the bottom, with a 4-inch Motorola device on top. The difference is quite apparent, and shows just how large HTC is going. Incidentally, the One Max will fill out an entire lineup of One handsets, including the current flagship and the One Mini, which we checked out last week.
Rumored specs of the One Max include a Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, an UltraPixel camera, BoomSound speakers and HTC’s fantastic Sense 5 user interface. It’s still unclear when we’ll see an official unveiling from HTC, but with all the hints and leaked photos, chances are we’ll hear something soon.
