Redbox Instant on Roku

Redbox Instant has been slowly adding support for more and more streaming solutions, a key factor in the success of any streaming media company. Today it finally hit one of the biggest platforms out there, the Roku family of devices.

There is nothing new in the support of the Roku devices in the ways of new perks, it’s just yet another venue to get the service in front of many eyes as possible. With over 5 million units sold to date, the Roku was definitely a device the company needed to get its stream on to. Of course the bigger prize would be getting on the Apple TV which has sold over 13 million units to date, but that is a notoriously difficult platform to crack.

To add Redbox Instant to your Roku, just hit up the channel store and you should find it amongst the recently added offerings.
