Chromecast Through Amazon May Arrive Faster Than from Google

by Todd Haselton | July 24, 2013July 24, 2013 2:15 pm PST

We ordered a few Chromecasts from Google today, and while we were originally quoted about 5-10 days for shipping from Google, Amazon may get it to you faster. We’ve placed a few additional orders from Amazon, which was promising delivery as early as tomorrow for Prime members. The site is already pushing some orders to Friday delivery, and even citing a possible 1-2 day processing time, but you’ll still get it sooner than from Google.

Again, it’s available with free 2-day shipping if you’re an Amazon Prime member, and the device itself costs just $35. For additional details check out our Chromecast announcement post from earlier today.
