Verizon Motorola DROID Maxx Promises 2-Day Battery Life

Verizon Wireless on Tuesday announced the Motorola DROID Maxx, a new device that promises up to 48 hours of usage time. The Maxx is equipped with a 1.7GHz dual-core processor which is part of the X8 mobile computing system. It offers a uni-body design with a unique click backside that sports a nice red Ferrari-like design.

The device is available for pre-order now and will launch on August 20 for $299 with a new two-year contract.
