Apple Financial Report

Apple’s Chief Financial Officer Peter Oppenheimer spoke with analysts today on the company’s earnings call and stated that it was “on track for a busy fall.”

During the previous quarter’s earnings call, Apple CEO Tim Cook warned analysts, in a round about way, that the company would not have any new products until this coming fall. It seems that Apple will be keeping with that plan at this time. Oppenheimer made multiple references to the fall, but the clearest one was he said that the company was “on track for a busy fall, and through all of 2014.”

Oppenheimer concluded his comments by saying Apple would have more to say about these matters in Oct. There seems to be some speculation that this means Oct. will be when the product announcements are made, but it also happens to be the month of the next quarterly earnings call, so our belief is that it was meant to mean that they would reflect on the announcements. It is definitely open to interpretation, but it sounds like we’re in for a lot of announcements in the coming months.
