Samsung Developer Conference Kicks off Oct 27

Samsung on Monday announced a new developer conference that will be held between October 27 and October 29 at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco. It will be open for developers interested in writing apps for all of Samsung’s products, whether it’s an HDTV or a tablet, and will help promote cross-platform support.

Samsung’s event sign-up page says developers will be able to meet and engage with industry leaders and other developers. It will also provide an opportunity to work and train with Samsung’s tools and software development kits that are used for app development. The company hasn’t yet revealed the schedule, or opened up registration for that matter, but we suspect there will be keynotes and break-out classes, similar to Apple’s WWDC or BlackBerry Live.

Interested developers can head over to the source link below to sign up for email alerts to when registration opens. We’ll keep you up to date with any fresh news on the conference as it happens.
