Nokia updated its official blog today, revealing an incoming announcement with the mysterious headline, “Something BIG landing here tomorrow.” That’s not much to go on, but the focus on the word “big” has us thinking we may get a first official look at the rumored 4.7-inch Lumia 625 that leaked last month.
The biggest Lumia handset ever is expected to sport mid-range specs and target emerging markets with its 4.7-inch 800 x 400-pixel display and dual-core 1.2GHz S4 processor. It also packs 512MB of RAM and a 5-megapixel camera, though the other specs largely remain a mystery. The Lumia 625 is expected to target developing countries where the low-cost Lumia 520 has seen some success, although a leaked FCC filing suggests the handset could also land in the U.S. on AT&T.
In today’s blog post, Nokia revealed that its big announcement will be revealed at 9 a.m. U.K. time Feel free to stay up late to catch the big news, or check in with TechnoBuffalo for the full scoop.
