There’s little we don’t know about the Moto X. Following a leaked promo video, spec reveal and even top executives parading the device around like it’s commonly available, we’re now getting the final piece of the puzzle: a render. The image doesn’t show off anything new—a “near stock” version of Android is rumored to be running on the device—but it does indicate the handset is imminent. As if we didn’t already know that, too.

That kevlar removable back is on full display; other alleged specs include a dual-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, 4.5-inch display and a 1500mAh battery. It doesn’t sound like the most cutting-edge device spec-wise, but we’d imagine Motorola has a few tricks up its sleeve in addition to the “design it yourself” gimmick.

The Moto X has been one very badly kept secret, though one thing we still don’t know is how much the device will cost. Judging from the mid-tier specs, it shouldn’t be too hefty right out of the gate, but we won’t know for sure for another few weeks; Motorola has an event scheduled for Aug. 1 in New York. I’d imagine we’ll see plenty more before then.

Update: @evleaks has released another press image. That’s a nice profile you got there, Moto X.
