Google is holding an event, prices are leaking and now we have documentation suggesting the Nexus 7 successor will be out in no time. Engadget acquired the new details from an anonymous source, and the documents reveal retailers are indeed expecting the new Nexus 7 to hit very soon; an actual expected arrival is tentatively scheduled for this Saturday, though Google’s event isn’t taking place until July 24, a few days later.

This tells us that Google will likely make the tablets available immediately after announcing them. The documents only mention the 32GB version, which an earlier inventory document revealed could be $269 when it’s released. There will also likely be a 16GB iteration for $229, though it’s unclear if retailers will carry both iterations, or just the single offering.

We have just a few days until we suspect we’ll hear all of the details straight from the horse’s mouth.
