The outlandish Japanese survival-horror sensation Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut is bringing its off the wall style of horror to PCs in the near future. Publisher Rising Star Games released a trailer and threw the game up on Steam Greenlight for fans to vote on.

Naturally, no date has been given for release seeing as it needs fan approval before being launched through the service.

I don’t think it will have much problem finding the votes. The game enjoys a very large and vocal cult fanbase, including us, so we’re naturally thrilled to buy the game all over again and play it on another system. Maybe Steam will even release trading cards for Deadly Premonition down to the line.

Oh the horror!

Check out the trailer and then go vote “yes” on Steam Greenlight. As I said, the game enjoys a large fanbase, but seeing as it holds Guinness World Record for “Most Polarizing Survival Horror Game,” meaning there are just as many jerks out there who are going to vote “no.”
