Ashton Kutcher’s Jobs movie has already received a proper trailer and poster, and now it’s colliding with one of today’s more polarizing social networks. Fitting, no? In what is apparently the first full movie trailer on Instagram video, Open Road Studios uses the allotted fifteen seconds to show off some key scenes in the upcoming biopic. And, of course, said video is backed by Jobs’ famous “The Crazy Ones” ad, though Kutcher’s delivery isn’t quite as powerful. With conviction, Kutcher!
The movie is due to hit theaters on Aug. 16, so there’s just about a month to go. It’s not a bad use of Instagram’s new video feature; we wouldn’t be surprised to see many more brands take advantage of the feature going forward.
