PhoneArena on Thursday acquired a Verizon roadmap that lays out exactly what’s ahead over the next month and then some, and in addition to the HTC One being mentioned, Motorola’s fabled Moto X is also included. Both are hitting during in the month of August—the HTC One is supposedly coming Aug. 1—meaning it’ll be a busy month for Verizon customers.
We already knew HTC’s best-ever device was coming to Verizon, it was just a matter of when. Having seen the handset recently pass through the FCC, its arrival was seemingly imminent, and today’s roadmap suggests it’s only a few weeks away. We’d expect the device on Verizon to sport the very same design and fancy new Sense overlay, but we’ll have to wait and see how prominent Verizon’s branding is once it hits.
As for the Moto X, the leaked roadmap says we’ll see that hit Aug. 23, the second-to-last Friday of the month, so we’re about a month away from just how good Motorola’s new project really is. The Aug. 23 date could indicate when we’ll see it hit other carriers, too, but we’ll have to wait and see as we move into next month.
The roadmap also mentions a new device from LG called the Exalt, a Samsung Convoy 3, and some other carrier specific stuff. Worth noting is that no new Droid devices are mentioned, even though we’ve seen plenty of leaks over the last few weeks, so we might not see those until September at the earliest.
