BlackBerry is developing a new all-touch device that expands on the design laid out by the Z10. Known as the BlackBerry A10, the device will allegedly be the Waterloo company’s must-have smartphone during the latter half of 2013. By looks alone, we already like where BlackBerry is heading; it has a bit of the HTC One look to it.
According to BGR, the handset will feature a 5-inch Super AMOLED display (1280 x 720), dual-core processor with separate graphics processor and a possible 8-megapixel camera. The A10 is supposedly larger than the S4 in terms of volume, and sports a more rounded look compared to BlackBerry’s current all-touch device, the Z10.
Not much info is being revealed about the A10 so far, but it’s supposedly coming this fall. It’ll be a huge device for BlackBerry in terms of where the company stands. Even after launching BlackBerry 10, the company has found it difficult to keep pace with the competition; its new A10 will likely be a huge indicator on whether or not consumers want to jump back onto the BlackBerry bandwagon.
