July 10, 2011 gaming editor Joey Davidson and I, along with a few friends, threw open the doors to the company’s Minecraft server. What we thought would be fun for a little bit has turned into a thriving community that we couldn’t be prouder of.
The TechnoBuffalo Minecraft server is now officially 2-years-old, and better than ever. We’ve recently moved to a new, far more powerful server, and with that came the ability to run multiple maps. Survival and Creative are fully up and running, and there are more to come. With 300 slots, there’s plenty of room for everyone.
Personally I want to send a huge thank you to all of the staff members of the server that do a wonderful job of keeping the server running. It’s a pleasure knowing that when I’m up to my eyeballs in making sure all of the latest tech news is being published, they’ve got my back making sure that the Minecraft players still have a place to call home.
If you’ve never stopped by before, there has never been a better time to check out the maps. And if you haven’t been on in a while, it’s a great time to make a return trip and check out all of the new features and land.
You can find the server at Minecraft.TechnoBuffalo.com, and we look forward to bringing you a place to call home for ages to come. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to get back to mining for diamonds.
