T-Mobile to Introduce New “Jump” Unlimited Upgrade Plan

T-Mobile on Wednesday will allegedly unveil a new “Jump” upgrade plan that will allow customers to upgrade their device “when [they] actually want to.” According to a pamphlet acquired by The Verge, the carrier’s new plan will give customers the option to upgrade their device as often as they like, when they like, without having to adhere to contract restrictions—and no extra fees. The plan goes against requirements, such as having to wait a full 24 months before upgrading, established by other carriers.

“No annual service contracts,” the advertisement says. “No overages. No brainer.” T-Mobile has an event scheduled for 2:00 p.m. ET, so we’ll find out more details soon. In today’s mobile landscape, great devices are often overshadowed by better devices very quickly. Jump, it seems, is designed to give customers the flexibility to sample all the latest devices T-Mobile has to offer.
