T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Gets 4G LTE Support

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1

T-Mobile announced on Wednesday that it is issuing a software update to customers of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 that will activate support for its 4G LTE network. It’s a great time to activate it, too, since T-Mobile’s 4G LTE network just expanded from 7 markets to 116 markets seemingly overnight.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a slightly older tablet (it launched in May of 2012) and is available for $99 down with 24 equal monthly payments of $15 if you’re on T-Mobile’s Simple Choice plans.

The tablet is equipped with a 10.1-inch screen with a 1280 x 800-pixel resolution, 16GB of expandable storage, an IR blaster for controlling your TV channels, a 3-megapixel camera, a dual-core 1GHz processor and more.
