The always reliable @evleaks on Monday tweeted a picture of the Verizon HTC One (below), and it looks exactly as it does on other carriers. Amazingly, there’s no Verizon branding anywhere on the front—the rear could be a different story—so the wonderful aluminum design is still largely unaltered. We hope.
There’s a good chance there will be bloatware buried on the handset, and a big carrier logo plastered on the back. But at least it’s not like the Note II on Verizon, which has a logo right there on the home button. There’s a possibility we could see Verizon get the “Glamour Red” version, which was only just announced last month, but for now the render shows the popular silver color scheme.
When Verizon announced the One was coming later this summer, the carrier didn’t specify a month or date. But seeing as @evleaks is openly mentioning the device, our guess is the HTC One for Verizon isn’t all that far away. The calendar does say September 5, and if that’s the case, Verizon customers have a little over a month to wait.
