Today, Sony celebrated the first full year of the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection. Over the span of 12 months, Sony turned 64 games into free offerings for PS Plus subscribers.
Of course, naysayers out there will probably be thinking something like, “well, they’re not really free.” To you we say, “yep.” Still, for $10 less than what Microsoft currently charges for a year of Xbox LIVE, the selection of “free” games is awesome.
I’ll own up to something: I skipped out on PS Plus. I still haven’t pulled the trigger on the subscription. The image released by Sony today, the one you see at the head of this post, convinced me. That’s a whole lot of games for $50.
Here’s a question: are any of you PS Plus subscribers disappointed with the service?
