How about a fresh batch of screenshots to check in on Obsidian Entertainment’s crowd-funded RPG Project Eternity? A small batch has leaked onto the Internet through GameStar.
All of these shots are still a work in progress, so none of the areas shown off have been completed yet. It is a little obvious considering that the game looks so much more detailed and gorgeous in motion.
Still, the various environments and emergence of new character models are exciting.
Project Eternity is of course one of the biggest crowd-funded games to emerge from the recent Kickstarter phenomenon. After holding the title as “the biggest” for quite some time, many are looking towards it to see how these massive indie games are going to pan out.
Project Eternity is going to be one of the most profitable games of 2014, mostly because it does not have to worry about making its budget back. It and several other high profile indie games have the potential to give the rusting AAA machine a run for its money. Here’s to hoping that Obsidian keeps up the good work.
The game is scheduled for a PC release in Q2 of 2014.
