Minecon 2013 Location Revealed: Orlando, Florida

Having recently broken 11 million copies sold on the PC platform, Mojang decided now was a good time to reveal the location of this year’s Minecraft convention. They did so in the brief, albeit hilarious, video above.

Minecon 2013 will be hosted in Orlando, Florida. Perhaps close enough to Disney World that the trip becomes a vacation for attendees. That would be nice, wouldn’t it?

In 2011, Minecon was held in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2012, Minecon happened in Disneyland Paris. Both shows enjoyed roughly 4,500 attendees.

Minecon will run over November 2nd and 3rd in 2013. According to the video announcing the location of this year’s convention, tickets for the show and hotel rooms for lodging will go on sale sometime in July.

Who’s attending?
