If you’re still rocking a 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab 2 on AT&T’s network we have some good news. The tablet is finally being upgradedfrom Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, bringing a number of improvements to the operating system.
Android’s notification center will now group updates together if they come from the same application, and you can now interact with notifications from the drop-down tab without launching each app. You’ll also get more control over how your desktop looks: widgets now automatically resize themselves to best fit whatever space you place them. The Jelly Bean keyboard is also smarter, it can learn your typing habits and guess whole words before you start typing them. The built-in dictionary is faster and more accurate than before, too, and Jelly Bean is quicker thanks to Google’s Project Butter.
