The beautiful Nokia Lumia 925, which features a sleek metal design instead of the company’s usual preference for bright colors and thick plastic handsets, will finally land on T-Mobile in two weeks according to an anonymous tipster who leaked the potential launch date to WMPoweruser.
The latest rumor lines up, especially since T-Mobile has announced it will be the exclusive carrier of the Lumia 925 in the United States. The tipster claims that T-Mobile will receive dummy display models of the device next week, with the actual handset arriving a week later and going on sale soon afterward.
The Nokia Lumia 925 sports a 4.5-inch WXGA display with a resolution of 1,280 x 768 pixels and a metal frame with polycarbonate back. Under the hood it comes equipped with a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a 2,000mAh battery, LTE support, an 8.7-megapixel rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera.
The latest rumor also follows the release of a new commercial for the Nokia Lumia 925 last week, focusing on the handset’s camera while mocking the iPhone’s reliance on LED flash.
