Motorola and Google have apparently been working on a major new release, though it seems that Google recently lost interest in the device. In any case, the phone, often referred to as the “Motorola X,” has been leaked several times before. Now we’re being treated to yet another image of the device that was obtained by PhoneArena.
The site says the image is question if a shot of the XT1056, a device bound for Sprint that’s currently in LTE testing. This isn’t confirmed to be the Motorola X, but the source largely believes that it is and said it has a 4.5-inch or 4.6-inch screen, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 16GB of storage, a 1.7GHz Snapdragon processor and 2GB of RAM.
It doesn’t sound particularly groundbreaking at this point, especially compared to the Galaxy S4 or HTC One, so we’re secretly hoping Motorola and Google have something better planned. The Motorola X is expected to make its debut in August.
