AT&T activated its 4G LTE network to seven new markets across the United States, the company said Wednesday. The country’s second largest carrier now boasts high-speed cellular service in more than 315 markets.
New regions added to AT&T’s 4G LTE network this week include Grand Rapids and Brainerd Lakes, Minnesota; Minot, North Dakota; Mount Vernon, Ohio; Jackson Country, Georgia; Visalia, California; and Hot Springs, Arkansas.
AT&T is on its way to covering 300 million people in the United States by the end of 2014, and 200 million people already have access to its 4G LTE network. Following recent tests, PCMag reported that AT&T offers the fastest cellular speeds in the country. Verizon took second place for speed, but still boasts the most coverage nationwide.
