Samsung’s Galaxy S4 LTE-Advanced variant, a model that will support the next-generation LTE network, could come any day now. We’ve heard about the phone several times, even right from Samsung co-CEO JK Shin’s mouth, and rumor has it the device will launch with a super fast Snapdragon 800 processor. Now we finally have a chance to see the phone thanks to an early unboxing.
As you can see in the leaked images above, the SK Telecom device looks identical to the current Galaxy S4 save for the mention of “LTE-A” support on the boot screen and on the back panel of the phone. It looks like the faster processor doesn’t require any extra bulk, which is good news, though we have to admit we’re a bit upset that an S4 with a Snapdragon 800 chip is launching so quickly after the first model.
Shin said the phone is “coming soon” and most rumors suggest that “soon” could mean July or August.
