Angry Birds creator Rovio is set to make an announcement on June 25 during a press conference in Moscow, the Finnish game developer revealed in an animated clip on Twitter’s 6-second video service, Vine.
The video, which was posted by popular Vine user Pinot and currently has over 11,000 likes, shows an animated red bird flying through the air and landing on a drawing of Moscow’s iconic Red Square, where Rovio is reportedly set to reveal its big news.
Tomorrow’s announcement is most likely the upcoming Angry Birds Go! spin-off, which Rovio teased earlier this month. Based on a brief video, the new spin-off appears to be a racing game, with the camera angle drastically shifted to offer a 3D perspective instead of the classic side-scroller view. It’s also possible that the announcement may relate to Rovio IPO rumors sparked earlier this month when the company added a fourth member to its board of directors. However, any IPO news would likely be announced in the U.S., or the firm’s home country of Finland, rather than Russia.
