AT&T Offering Devices Up to Fifty Percent Off With Trade-In

Trade-in your old smartphone to AT&T and you can get up to 50 percent off your next purchase with a qualifying two-year contract. The limited time offer applies to both online or in-store purchases—devices such as the iPhone 5, Galaxy S4 Active and HTC One are all up for grabs but anything that costs more than $199 is off limits. You just have to ensure the handset you trade-in is no more than three years old, and is in good working condition.

If you do decide to turn in an eligible device, the discount will automatically show up in your shopping cart once you’re at check out. That’s it. Fifty-percent isn’t, you know, as good as free, and AT&T’s recent $100 off deal seemed like a better offer. Still, a discount on a new device is always welcome, and makes signing that new two-year contract sting just a little less. The deal lasts until June 30.
