Samsung Galaxy Ring Leaked for Boost Mobile

Samsung made a bunch of announcements yesterday but it didn’t discuss the Galaxy Ring, a new phone that was leaked on Friday. We only have a single image to go off of, thanks to @evleaksbut it looks like a fairly entry-level smartphone. It’s definitely not a U.S. version of the Galaxy S4 mini, which we saw yesterday, because the body is a lot different. If we had to guess we’d say this has a screen in the 4-inch or smaller range, and we can see that it comes with Samsung’s custom Android skin.

There’s a front-facing camera, though since we expect this is an entry-level phone we don’t believe it will offer HD support. There’s no rating for the back camera, but we’d guess that’s in the 5-megapixel range. We can also see that the phone is made out of plastic, no surprise there, and has a dedicated home button.

We don’t know when this will launch or for how much, but given that this looks like a fairly complete press image with the Boost Zone software, we’re guessing an announcement could come any day now.
