Samsung announced to new Windows 8 tablets at a press event in London today, unveiling the 13.3-inch ATIV Q and the 10.1-inch ATIV Tab 3.
The ATIV Q boasts access to both Windows app store and Google Play through Android 4.2.2. The device features a hinge design, allowing the user to transform the tablet from a flat surface to a laptop, or flip the display to stand mode to watch a video. The tablet also features a resolution of 3,200 x 1,800 pixels at 275ppi and a 720p HD camera.
The ATIV Tab 3 is Samsung’s new Windows travel tablet, boasting the “power of a PC” on the world’s thinnest Windows 8 tablet at just 8.2 millimeters thick and weighing 550 grams. The 10.1-inch display features a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. The device also features a 720p HD rear camera.
Samsung did not say when the two ATIV tablets would hit the market or how much they will cost.
