Samsung officially announced the Galaxy NX smart camera at a press event in London today. The LTE-enabled device features an interchangeable lens boasting 20-megapixels and runs on Android 4.2.
The camera also comes with a number of Samsung features including more than 30 Smart Modes that help you choose between different filters depending on the setting; Multi Exposure combines two photos into one, and Animated Photo turns five photos into an animated GIF. The device is equipped with Google’s stable of mobile services as well, including Chrome, Google Maps, Gmail, Search, Google Play, YouTube, Google Talk and Voice Search.
The Galaxy NX sports a 4.8-inch LCD display and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core processor. It features 2GB of Ram, 16GB of internal memory upgradeable to 64GB via microSD card, and a 4,360 mAh battery.
Samsung did not say when the device would be released or how much it will cost.
