Nokia’s 41-Megapixel EOS Windows Phone Teased

Nokia recently published a blog post that teases its next smartphone. The company is holding a press event in New York City on July 11 and it’s all but confirmed that we’ll see the highly rumored “EOS” Windows Phone. An image posted by Nokia, and embedded above, simply states: “41 Million Reasons,” a play on the 41-megapixel camera that’s rumored for the device.

The smartphone is allegedly heading to AT&T with Windows Phone 8, wireless charging support, a 4.5-inch OLED display with a 1280 x 768-pixel resolution and more. As we’ve seen in leaked EOS photos, the 41-megapixel camera will come at the cost of a large hump on the back of the device, though that’s a small price to pay for the high quality images we’re expecting from the phone.

TechnoBuffalo will be reporting live on July 11 at 11:00 a.m. EST, and Nokia says it will provide a live webcast of the event.
