Samsung is set to launch its first online smartphone accessories store next month, reports ET News. The Korean news-site isn’t always spot on in its reports, but this is an obvious move for the company if Samsung wants to further capitalize on the success of its popular smartphones.
The South Korean tech giant is reportedly set to launch an online accessory store for European customers next month “around early July” before expanding globally. The internet store will reportedly sell Samsung’s own products (including the S4 heart rate monitor, S Band and Game Pad) as well as some accessories supplied by partners.
News that Samsung will launch an online accessory store follows the company’s announcement earlier this year that it will launch Samsung Experience kiosks at over 1,400 Best Buy stores. If ET News‘ report is true, Samsung could announce the launch at its upcoming press conference on June 20.
