iOS 7 was announced earlier today and is a completely revamped version of Apple’s mobile operating system. Jony Ive and the design team ditched the skeuomorphic designs and revamped several features of the operating system.

The mailbox is simplified and easier to navigate thanks to swipe gestures and the weather application is so beautiful it looks almost identical to Yahoo’s app. Siri was revamped, AirDrop is now supported for quick transfers over Wi-Fi and much more, there’s a new notification center and, finally, a control center for accessing quick settings.

iOS even has a sort of see-through design that helps carry over elements from your background into the current application, and the parallax home screen tilts and pans with the movements of your phone. What do all of these features look like? You can get a quick glance in our gallery above.
