iOS 7 was all but confirmed for WWDC 2013 on Monday, but in case you need more proof that Apple will unveil its redesigned mobile UI at the annual conference, here’s a photo of the huge banner going up outside the convention center earlier today with nothing but the number seven printed on it.
Apple will unveil iOS 7 next week, and the latest update is expected to be the biggest redesign in the mobile OS’s history. Sir Jony Ive, the company’s design guru, who helped design much of Apple hardware over the past decade was tasked with reinventing iOS. According to numerous reports the finished project features a “flat” UI instead of the skeuomorphic, glossy look that has been Apple’s trademark since the original iPhone debuted.
