The Twitter for Windows Phone application was updated on Thursday with several new features. The biggest is probably support for viewing embedded Vine videos, though Windows Phone users still don’t have a Vine application of their own. Other features include the ability to refresh lists on demand, save tweeted photos into your phone gallery and bug fixes.
Twitter also added a new option for adding photo filters to images from your camera roll or by using the camera directly. There are eight filters by default, including vignette, warm, cool, 1963, 1972, golden hour, antigua and black and white.
It’s certainly nice to see added camera functionality, but we have a feeling most Windows Phone users would prefer having Instagram to built-in photo filters, and a real version of Vine instead of only having the option to playback clips recorded by others. Baby steps.
