11 New Nokia EOS Photos Reveal Huge 41MP Camera

Fresh photos of the Nokia EOS have leaked online, showing the rumored device in two more color options (black and red), and giving us our first look at the handset’s massive 41-megapixel PureView camera.

The first crop of leaked Nokia EOS pictures from GMS Arena show the Windows Phone’s black variant, photographed from all angles to give an idea of the handset’s dimensions. The photos show a device pretty much identical to yesterday’s batch, and The Verge claims that a “source familiar with Nokia’s plans” has confirmed that these are “genuine engineering samples.”

Meanwhile, a second batch of leaked Nokia EOS photos from WP XAP show the handset with a red shell against a background that suggests the photos were taken from inside a factory where the smartphone is being manufactured. The recent flood of pictures comes just days after a report that the Nokia EOS was being tested by AT&T, not to point any fingers.

The Nokia EOS is expected to feature a 41-megapixel camera with Xenon flash, as well as a 4.5-inch OLED display and 32GB of storage. Nokia is also reportedly developing a new camera app for more granular control. After promising a “summer of announcements,” the Finnish smartphone maker is expected to unveil the EOS in July at the earliest.
