Sony officially announced yet another smartphone today. The Xperia M is a budget-friendly handset with a sleek design, mid-range specs and four color options including lime green and purple as well as standard black and white models.
The Xperia M features a 4-inch display with a resolution of 854 x 480-pixels and a dual-core 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor. You also get 1GB of RAM, a microSD card slot, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a front-facing camera and a battery that claims to offer over 10 hours of talk time. The device runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, however, instead of the latest build.
Sony hasn’t announced how much the Xperia M will cost but it will launch in the third quarter of this year. A model that supports two SIM cards will also be released.
