The U.S. ITC ruled Tuesday afternoon that Apple does indeed infringe on some Samsung patents, Reuters just reported. It’s unclear which patents are currently in question, but here’s the kicker: the ITC has issued a “limited exclusion order” on Apple products sold through AT&T. That includes the iPad 2 with 3G and Wi-Fi, the iPad with 3G support, the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 3GS.
AT&T doesn’t sell most of those products right now, however, so it might only affect the iPhone 4 if the ruling is upheld. President Obama has to approve the ruling first, Reuters explained, and that could take up to 60 days.
