Geeky Man Records Marriage Proposal with Google Glass

The complaint we hear about Google Glass most often is that it’s omni-present camera means everything we do in public will be recorded and uploaded online automatically. It can be creepy to think about someone at Google HQ spying on all of us all the time thanks to Glass, but there are also moments in life when it’s worth always having an inconspicuous camera sitting on your face.

One of these moments took place last month when Google Glass owner Breon Nagy proposed to his girlfriend. Thanks to Google Glass, he was able to record the entire thing without pulling out a camera and giving away the surprise. He was also able to easily upload the proposal to YouTube, where it already has more than 23,000 views.

Is this the first marriage proposal ever caught on Google Glass? We can’t say for sure, but we’re looking forward to watching Nagy’s wedding through his own eyes thanks to the new gadget.
