Nokia Tablet Reportedly Being Tested On AT&T

Following reports suggesting Nokia is already testing its upcoming EOS smartphone on AT&T, a separate claim says a companion tablet will also hit the carrier around the same time. Remember that mysterious Nokia tab mistakenly shown off in that Adidas miCoach ad? Turns out it was a legit render, and mirrors exactly what Nokia plans on releasing later this summer.

Nokia hasn’t been shy about expressing interest in the tablet market, and it seems all that talk was leading up to a possible 10-inch RT device. According to sources speaking with NokiaPowerUser, the Finnish company is allegedly prepping the device for a July announcement, though it’s unclear if Nokia will unveil the device alongside the EOS or during a separate event. Either way, July will be a huge month for Nokia, with two very important devices on the way.

The rumored 41-megapixel EOS device sounds immensely promising—a feature like that is immediately marketable against devices like the Galaxy S4, HTC One and iPhone 5. But an RT tablet that, as far as we know, has no obvious selling points over what Microsoft has already put out? That will be a big challenge.
