Specs for Samsung‘s two upcoming Galaxy S4 variants leaked online today. The waterproof Active and the Zoom, which features a 10x optical zoom, are both expected to debut on June 20th at a special event in London alongside the Galaxy S4 Mini.
According to Unwired Review, the Galaxy S4 Zoom will feature a powerful 16 megapixel main camera with 10x optimal zoom and a 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera. The handset will also sport a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display, 1.6 GHz dual-core processor, Android Jelly Bean out of the box, 8 GB of memory with micro-SD support, a 1900 mAh battery and Bluetooth support. It won’t support LTE and is expected to look very similar to the original S4.
The water and dust resistant Galaxy S4 Active will feature a 5-inch Super AMOLED HD display, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset, Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.2, LTE support, 16GB memory with micro-SD slot, Bluetooth, NFC, IR blaster and a 2600 mAh battery.
These specs haven’t been confirmed by Samsung, and Unwired Review has a mixed track record with these types of stories. We won’t know anything for sure until June 20 at the earliest.
