Apple has removed another app from from the iOS App Store, this time because a simple drawing application was hiding a secret tethering mode that allowed users to tether an iPhone for free. Little Artist Canvas cost just $0.99 and was deleted last night soon after the Easter egg was discovered.

The app let iPhone users tether their handsets, creating a Wi-Fi modem and providing Internet access for other nearby devices. Various carriers offers this service, though it requires a dedicated monthly plan.

Check out a video above, which shows how the hidden tethering app worked.
