Alleged Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Spotted in the Wild

The Galaxy S4 might be too big, and the Galaxy S III might be too old. If you suffer from this Goldilocks dilemma, Samsung will probably come out with a cure soon, maybe even as early as June/July. And it was only a matter of time, too, because the very same thing happened last year. […]

Galaxy S4 Mini Appears Yet Again

We recently published a gallery that included several photos of Samsung’s still unannounced Galaxy S4 mini. Now we have a few more pictures to add to that batch, thanks to  We can’t discern too much from the photos except that it appears the mini has a different finish than the full version of the Galaxy […]

Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Poses for the Camera in Leaked Photos

Samsung is allegedly prepping an entire family lineup of Galaxy S4 devices, and one of those is the S4 mini. Expected to launch with a 4.3-inch display, 1.6GHz dual-core processor and 8-megapixel camera, the mini is a more trimmed down version of Samsung’s latest flagship, which is currently rolling out around the globe. Rumors of a Galaxy S4 Mini have been circulating for some time now without any confirmation from Samsung. Apparently someone in the South Korean manufacturer’s Web department wasn’t given the memo that the phone has yet been confirmed, however, as the device appeared on the Samsung Apps page as a compatible device.

While we’ve seen some leaked images of the Galaxy S4 Mini, it’s a little difficult to think there is any doubt now that the device is real when Samsung shows off the phone for itself. Originally spotted by TGSPOT, we’ve been able to find the device listed as well in the menu of supported devices. While we still have no idea of a release date, it seems safe to assume that the announcement should be fairly soon.

As a reminder, the Galaxy S4 Mini is expected to feature a 1.6 GHz dual-core CPU, Super AMOLED qHD display, 4.3-inch screen with a resolution of 960×540, 1GB and 2GB of RAM for the 3G and LTE versions respectively, Android 4.2, 32GB of internal memory, 2100mAh battery and an 8MP camera.

It just goes to show that you never know where you may end up spotting confirmation for a new device.
