The first photo of LG‘s upcoming Optimus F3 for Sprint has leaked online, revealing a rectangular 4-inch smartphone with curved edges. The mobile tech manufacturer is still holding on among its OEM competition in the U.S., and its two latest devices, the F3 and the Optimus G Pro (already available for AT&T) should help the South Korean company keep an edge in the competitive market.
We got our first look at LG’s F-series of LTE-capable, budget-friendly handsets at Mobile World Congress 2013 last February, where the company unveiled the Optimus F5 and F7. The Optimus F3, which features Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2, a dual-core processor and a respectable 2,460mAh battery, wasn’t supposed to see the light of fay until next month at a special LG event in Australia. Thankfully, PhoneArena got its hands on a leaked photo of the upcoming device.
Pricing and a release date are still unknown, however.
