Verizon’s hasn’t officially announced the Lumia 928, but Nokia is starting to publish materials on the smartphone on its website. Yesterday we saw a full ad for the new Windows Phone, which packs a xenon flash and an 8.7-megapixel camera, and now we’re getting treated to camera samples.

The video above shows us how the Lumia 928 performs while recording an HD clip on a nighttime roller-coaster ride. Nokia then takes us through the ride comparing the phone to the iPhone 5 — it found that the Lumia 928 offered better color saturation and image sharpness — and against the Galaxy S III. In the Galaxy S III comparison Nokia said its device offers sharper image focus and less noise.

We can’t wait to see how the Lumia 928 stacks up against the HTC One and the Galaxy S4 when we have a chance to perform our own tests.
