LG is holding an event on May 30, where the company is expected to announce the Optimus G2. We recently saw a Sprint leak that suggested the device would launch with a Snapdragon 800 processor, so the timing is lining up rather nicely right now. The handset, according to the recent leak, will sport a 5.5-inch Full HD display, but not much else is known right now.
According to clues in the invitation, LG is reportedly ready to debut new IPS LCD technology for a more true-to-life display. Displays today look gorgeous as it is, so the potential there is exciting. May is turning out to be a big month for mobile, and like any other big event, I expect some big leaks to spoil the show.
